Evangelism is more than simply telling people about Jesus. It is also allowing Christ to work through our lives so that others can see His love, grace, and truth in us. Our words matter, but so does the way we live, love, forgive, serve, and treat the people around us.

Think about the people God has placed in your life. A coworker, neighbor, friend, family member, or even a stranger may encounter Christ through you. Sometimes a kind word or an act of compassion can open a door that a sermon never could. When we reflect Jesus in our everyday lives, we become “mirrors” that point others toward Him.

This doesn’t mean we have to be perfect. In fact, our dependence on Christ can be part of our witness. Evangelism begins with letting Jesus change us from the inside out, then being willing to share what He is doing in our lives.

Every day, we have opportunities to be carriers of Christ. We can ask God to help us notice those opportunities and give us courage to respond. The question is not simply, “How can I tell someone about Jesus?” but also, “How can someone encounter Jesus through me today?”

Christ still works through people. May our lives reflect Him clearly enough that others are drawn to know the One we follow.
