A Special Thank-You to our Ladies who Serve in light of the SBC 2026

As I reflect on the life and ministry of our church, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the women who faithfully serve week after week, often without recognition and sometimes without anyone seeing the countless hours they invest behind the scenes.

To the lady who just led us through a tremendous week of Vacation Bible School—thank you. Your preparation, creativity, patience, and love for children helped create an environment where the gospel was shared and seeds were planted in young hearts. The impact of your work will be felt for years to come.

To our Sunday School teachers, thank you for faithfully opening God’s Word and investing in the spiritual growth of others. Your commitment to teaching and discipling is helping shape lives for eternity.

To those who serve on our Stewardship Committee, thank you for your wisdom, diligence, and commitment to helping our church faithfully manage the resources God has entrusted to us.

To the women who serve on our worship team, thank you for leading us in praise and helping prepare our hearts to hear from the Lord each week.

To those who lead and serve on our Personnel Committee, thank you for your thoughtful work, difficult conversations, and desire to help our church staff and ministries thrive.

To those who coordinate our children’s ministry and serve on our youth and children’s teams, thank you for loving the next generation. Your investment in children and students is helping build a foundation of faith that can last a lifetime.

To the women who lead our young adult ministry and college and career ministry, thank you for reaching a generation that faces unique challenges and opportunities. Your encouragement and discipleship matter more than you know.

To those who serve on our missions team and welcome team, thank you for helping us fulfill the Great Commission and ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and loved.

To those who write cards, send notes of encouragement, decorate classrooms and fellowship spaces, prepare for special events, and quietly serve in ways many never notice—thank you. Your acts of kindness and service help create a church family that feels like home.

To the women who serve on our church events team, thank you for the planning, organization, and countless details that make ministry opportunities possible and meaningful.

And finally, a special word of thanks to my wife. Thank you for serving alongside me, supporting me through every season of ministry, speaking truth when I need to hear it, and encouraging me to be a better husband, father, and pastor. You are a gift from God, and your partnership in ministry is one of His greatest blessings in my life. You truly complete me, and I am grateful for you every day.

The ministries of our church are stronger because of the faithful women who serve. While many of your efforts may go unnoticed by others, they are never unnoticed by the Lord. Scripture reminds us, “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for His name by serving the saints—and by continuing to serve them”(Hebrews 6:10).

Thank you for your faithfulness, your sacrifice, your servant hearts, and your love for Christ and His church. You are making an eternal difference. May God richly bless you as you continue to serve Him.

Now these ladies all “minister” with their God-given gifts and talents. I am not sure how this aligns with the SBC standards and guidelines; however, I will stand behind each and every one of these godly ladies as they serve their Lord and Savior. Our church could not operate without them.
